Hi I’m Marcelle, Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach. I specialise in helping my clients overcome their anxiety over food; be it due to unpleasant digestive problems, emotional eating or binge eating and eating disorders.

Many moons ago I worked in the fashion industry as a buyer. It was a demanding job that involved long hours, overseas travel and an unhealthy lifestyle. As a consequence, I began to suffer with debilitating symptoms of IBS. This affected my work, socialising and my life as a whole. It became impossible to know what on earth I could eat or what I could do to alleviate my symptoms. After having test after test, endless appointments and medical treatments with no improvements, I decided to take a different path.

Fast forward 10 years, having qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine (and shortly after trained as a Health Coach) I was able to take control of my own health and free myself from the misery of distressing symptoms which were hampering my enjoyment of life.

I have since worked with countless adults and teenagers suffering with digestive/intestinal conditions including IBS, bloating, gas, food intolerances, leaky gut, SIBO, acid reflux, irregular bowel movements, IBD and poor digestion. I then embarked on further specialist training to facilitate my work with clients struggling with emotional eating, weight-control complexities, eating distress, binge and disordered eating to help them restore a healthy relationship with food. This work is truly rewarding as I see the most powerful transformations with my clients. Often they tell me there is a light bulb moment when it all begins to make sense and they experience the freedom and happiness in their life that they deserve.

My unique approach combines Nutritional Therapy with Health Coaching and specialist training in obesity and eating disorders. We are all diverse individuals with our own health history, biochemistry and genetics. That’s where Nutritional Therapy and the Functional Medicine approach comes in to find the root cause of what’s going on. The specialist coaching however provides the support, accountability and motivation to make those light bulb moments happen!

In addition to my one to one work, I have developed an emotional eating on line programme. This encompasses all the key elements of my one to one work and makes it possible to help more people in this way.

My other work entails working with corporate organisations to develop wellness programmes, seminars and workshops to help prevent people becoming sick, much like I did when I worked in that environment many years ago.

I love interacting with the community around me and set up the Facebook group, Fuss-Free Healthy eating which is dedicated to making healthy eating easier. Please do join our community
